Who’s Behind Easeful Motherhood ?

Hi, my name’s Carolyn, and I used to be exhausted (all the time), which is why older posts will have Exhausted Mama on them. That’s what this blog used to be called as I slowly learned to care for myself first while doing my best to raise two young girls, pay the bills, manage my husband’s business, keep the fridge stocked, keep the laundry clean, and chauffeur the girls to and from school and extra curricular activities.

Now my girls are teenagers, and I’m amazed at how far I’ve come in my journey. My life is still busy and hectic, just in other ways than they were ten years ago, but the amazing part is, I’m no longer exhausted. I learned a lot and feel much more easeful in my mothering, which is why I decided to change the blog name to Easeful Motherhood in 2025.

And I’d love to help you in your motherhood journey. Motherhood doesn’t have to be exhausting. And you don’t have to learn things the hard way, like I did. Let me share the products I’ve found that have made my life easier and let me introduce you to Human Design—the missing piece I was looking for that finally made everything else make sense.

Human Design is like a personalized manual for how you’re meant to move through life with less resistance. It shows you how your energy naturally works, how you’re designed to make decisions you can trust, and why certain things feel easy for you while others leave you drained.

But more importantly—it helps you stop trying to be the kind of mom you think you should be, and start being the mom you actually are.

It puts language to things you’ve probably already felt:

  • why you get overwhelmed faster than others (or don’t)
  • why you need more alone time—or none at all
  • why certain routines never seem to “stick”
  • why your child operates completely differently than you

Instead of giving you more rules to follow, Human Design gives you permission to do things in a way that actually works for you and your family.

In motherhood, this can look like:

  • understanding your natural capacity so you stop overextending yourself
  • making decisions with more confidence instead of second-guessing
  • supporting your child in a way that fits them, not just generic parenting advice
  • creating rhythms in your home that feel good instead of forced

If you’re here, there’s a good chance something isn’t working in your motherhood journey and you’re ready for what actually works for you.

You don’t need more pressure or more to-do lists. You need support that honors how you’re uniquely wired.

If you want to understand your energy, make decisions with more confidence, and create more ease in your days, you can book a Human Design reading with me.

And if you’re just looking for simple ways to make mom life feel lighter right now, you can explore the blog for my favorite products, rhythms, and tools.

Choose what feels like the next right step for you.
